This is the fourth book in the Steampunk Ghost series, but it can be read as a standalone story, even though it does mention little bits of the previous books (not enough to give the plots away).
While holidaying in London with Ginny, a friend of Gabriel (the Ghost) is having dinner, with friends, only one arrives bloody and bitten, and making no sense… just mumbling about “The Russians” Once again, the Ghost is thrown unto the thick of it. This time it is his friend and ally who needs his help to stop dangerous occultists, with ancient Pagan powers, but most of all he needs to save the British Empire!
It is action packed from the very first page and doesn’t stop until the last. There are gadgets, magic, monsters and one hell of a cool hero that women would love to meet and sigh over, and one the men would love to be, and sigh over! I LOVED IT!! I’m now buying the others!!
