This story is narrated by Amby, who is fed up of working life in a city bank and is really looking for a new direction. She spots an ad for a writers’ retreat in Greece, which sounds absolutely fantastic. She meets some very interesting people on her journey who immediately become great friends. They have a barrel of laughs and a really fun-filled time.
I found this story hard to get into at first, but I’m so pleased I persevered because once the story gets going it’s fantastic. I loved getting to know Amby and KayKay and watching the relationships between them and the rest of the gang play out.
