I’ve enjoyed a few other Jenny Colgan books but this has to be my favourite. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a book about a librarian who loses her job and decides to run a book bus in Scotland. Fabulous!
Nina works in a library in Birmingham and she loves it as she loves books. But it closes and everything heads towards a more digital complex and Nina finds herself out of a job. She has an idea that she could buy a big bus that she finds for sale in Scotland, and run it as a travelling bookshop. Throw in the usual romantic ups and down and you have an absolutely brilliant read here.
I found this book to be a completely charming read and when I got to the end I closed it with a smile on my face. I loved every minute that I spent reading it – it’s a real feel-good book.
